Read more...The hospital runs a child and adolescent psychiatric outpatient clinic every Wednesday from 8 am to 1 pm where all children with mental disord ers are assessed.
The hospital runs an outpatient psychiatric department which runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year.
Patients that are assessed and ranked as admission are admitted, and those can be treated are referred to the Outpatient psychiatric clinic.
MNTRH also have the Disability clinic, where the disabled are assessed.
There is also a fire arms clinic where we assess people who want to own Firearms every Thursday 8 am to 4 pm.
Mental status assessment upon request by Advocates for Litigation purposes.
MNTRH runs two clinics per week every Monday and Tuesday where mental status assessment of Law Offenders is carried out. Clients are brought to the Hospital with court orders from a magistrate or a Judge.
MNTRH is the only Hospital in the country that admits Law Offenders with a capacity of over 176 beds for the patients.
MNTRH has an active Nursing Psychiatric Department which visits patients at home for those that need to be followed up.
It also carries out the repatriation processes whereby patients who have been abandoned in the hospital by their relatives are integrated back with their families all over the countries.
MNTRH has around 40 Psychologists and a few Counsellors who carry out Psycho-Therapeutic sessions for patients who are in the hospital but also walk in.
Several Psychologicals models are used at the Hospital;
The hospital offers different services to people who suffer from addiction and Substance use.
